Modern facades are subject to the same exacting design requirements as home interiors. Warema has therefore optimised its roller shutter range and developed a new slat for external venetian blinds, offering the perfect products for a uniform design. It has also made its range of functions – such as dim-out – even more effective than before.

These days, sun shading systems focus as much on design as they do on effectiveness. With its new 80Z Zetra slat, Warema has expanded its portfolio to include a product that blends in perfectly with modern cubic architecture. Its linear slat geometry with a width of 80mm is based on the specifications of the tried-and-tested 80S slat and improves on the characteristics of the previous dim-out slat, making it a suitable and attractive alternative for bedrooms. When closed, it increases dim-out by up to 25 percent compared with the previous system. When opened, it improves the view considerably. At the same time, the concave reflection surfaces ensure reliable sun shading with excellent light guidance.

The excellent stability of the Zetra slat fulfils another customer requirement: In tests, it has proven very robust and withstands extreme wind speeds of up to 80 km/h. Simple planning, ease of installation and design flexibility make the slat a safe bet for new projects and existing systems alike. It is available in the standard colours of the new collection and in four additional matte surface colours. When combined with the new A37 shutter profile, it gives facades a consistent and modern look.

Uniform design for roller shutters and external venetian blinds
The A37 aluminium mini roller shutter curtain replaces the previous A36 model. The new shutter profile improves winding behaviour and stability, while optimising dim-out. In addition to the standard design with grooves, the A37 profile is also available with a smooth surface, perfect for current trends and modern residential buildings. The design is also extremely similar to that of external venetian blinds with the new Zetra slat; installing both products on the same building offers clear visual advantages. To round off its roller shutter portfolio, Warema will also be offering the K37 plastic profile as a smooth roller shutter curtain as well as smooth and grooved variants of the A44 and A53 aluminium midi and maxi profiles, the perfect companion to the popular 80S slat.

By combining the Zetra slat and the A37, Warema completes its window and facade portfolio, offering a unique look and fulfilling the highest design standards.
