Welcome to the world of sun shading: From 27 November, the Warema Sun Forum in Wertheim invites visitors to stroll from house to house and explore every facet of modern shading. They can see solutions at work in a range of circumstances – kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and workspaces – and discover just how beneficial the right shading can be. Specialised retailers and architects can also use the Warema Sun Forum as a visual aid when advising their customers.
Perfectly situated in Wertheim and spanning 1,600 square metres, the new Warema Sun Forum takes visitors on an emotional journey through the world of the brand, presenting the entire spectrum of modern sun shading, both indoors and outdoors. This outstanding exhibition aims to contrast light and shade, a fascinating interplay that begins as soon as visitors enter a striking lobby that takes them out of their everyday lives and into a totally new world.
“The Warema Sun Forum has made one of our wishes come true”, says Marion Fischer, Head of Marketing at Warema. “This is an impactful way to explain our vision for modern sun shading and tap into visitors’ emotions. The importance of sun shading for personal wellbeing and facade design is often underestimated, both in renovation projects and new buildings. Our exhibition puts sun shading in perspective, while increasing awareness of our brand. We make sun shading tangible and true to life like nobody else. Once visitors have made contact and obtained the information they need, we can pass them on to a suitable specialised retailer. This makes our collaboration even more successful."
Explore a whole world of sun shading
The Warema village presents visitors with modern, atmospheric houses featuring a variety of rooms – for example, a living room shows how optimised shading can help when reading, watching television or relaxing. Bedrooms, work rooms, dining rooms, children’s rooms, kitchens and conservatories are also replicated with various sun shading and insect screen solutions. In addition, a conservatory filled with samples from the collection inspires visitors, allows them to feel the various fabrics and materials, and provides swatches to take away. Anyone interested in Warema’s convenient control systems can visit the smart info table in the marketplace to find the ideal solution for their home.
Outdoor living is covered by the extensive outdoor area. Visitors can explore Warema awnings, Lamaxa slat roofs and parasols by Caravita, which is also part of the Warema Group. Warema shows them how to create a unique space, be it with an outdoor kitchen, a dining area or a patio with loungers. At the exit, a brand wall leaves visitors with impressions of the company’s history and the people who have made Warema what it is.
A tour through Warema’s product world
The Warema Sun Forum covers the entire portfolio of housing products with visually appealing examples. There’s plenty to explore, from external venetian blinds and roller shutters, to awnings and slat roofs, to insect screens and control systems for automated sun shading. The exhibition is equally diverse, providing many ways to explore and learn about sun shading. A team of experts is always on hand for discussions and advice. Visitors wishing to explore alone can use the virtual tour guide or find information by the products themselves. The on-site specialised retailers will take care of any further planning. Retailers and architects can also accompany their customers through the exhibition or refer them to the Warema Sun Forum for a realistic impression of the various sun shading solutions.
The Sun Forum is situated by the A3 motorway, not far from the Wertheim Village shopping outlet, giving potential customers even more reason to visit the area. Those who live too far away can head to the first two Warema Sun Centers, which can be found in Stuttgart and Berlin and employ the same concept as the Sun Forum – just on a smaller scale.
