Using Klaes, 3E, Cobus-Adulo or Prologic to configure sun shading products and windows together, copying everything into a quotation and placing an order with just one click? This may seem like wishful thinking to many, but now it has become a reality: the integration of the myWarema digital order platform into popular software solutions for window manufacturing makes work processes more efficient and secure – removing various manual steps from the quotation and order creation process.
“Practically all of our commissions include roller shutters, external venetian blinds or other sun shading products. Previously, we had to look up the specifications and prices in catalogues and price lists, edit them for inclusion in the quotation and order them from Warema separately. Now we can do it all from the Klaes window manufacturing software in a third of the time.” Jonas Herr of Herr GmbH & Co. KG in Herborn, Hesse is clearly enthused by the new system. He was one of the first to try out the Warema interface with Klaes. He has now been working with the new solution for over a year. His company, which employs 25 people, produces plastic windows as well as front doors made from PVC and aluminium.
When Jonas Herr uses Klaes to draw up a quotation for a window, he can directly access the myWarema order software by choosing the “Add features” option, for example to configure matching roller shutters. The system then runs a check in the background to make sure his selection is technically feasible, ruling out errors almost completely. Mr Herr explains: “The configurator restricts the selection available to the specifications that fit with the construction. This makes the whole process very quick.” With just one click, he can then add the roller shutter – along with a picture and description – to his quotation. If necessary, each Warema product can also be added as a separate item. The purchase price shown is always up to date and an appropriate surcharge can be added. The purchasing terms of an individual window manufacturer are stored in the system and taken into account automatically.
Fewer errors and incorrect orders
Fabian Rieder, managing director of Joleka GmbH & Co. KG in Kalenborn-Scheuern, is another of the pilot customers to have thoroughly tested the Warema solution. His company works with the 3E Look software for window companies, and produces its own extensive portfolio of privacy and sun shading as well as offering windows and doors. Mr Rieder says: “Previously, we had to enter and maintain the Warema master data ourselves. It took time and there was a risk of mistakes. Thanks to the Warema interface, we don’t have to do this at all anymore.”
He is particularly pleased at how much simpler the order process has become. Thanks to the Warema interface integrated into the software, he and his colleagues order exactly what is stated on the order confirmation. One click of the button and all configured products are ordered. The information does not have to be entered again. “We used to collate all the order data in a separate PDF. We don’t have to do that anymore”, Mr Rieder says.
Available for popular ERP systems
The integration of myWarema enables a consistent digital workflow that reduces errors and saves an enormous amount of time. It is already available for the Klaes, 3E, Prologic and Cobus-Adulo programs. Further interfaces, such as Orgadata, are currently being developed. It can be activated with the window fitter at short notice. A small amount of adjustment is required depending on the customer and ERP system. The cost to the window manufacturer is manageable. The ERP system operator is usually charged a one-off flat fee for set-up (in the low hundreds) as well as a monthly fee in the two-digit to low-three-digit range.
Warema offers live demonstrations for interested customers. Sample data is used to demonstrate various scenarios and the functions of the new solution.
A live event is also planned for the autumn to show window fitters how myWarema interacts with the Klaes software. For more information on the event and the chance to register, visit www.warema.com/digitalforum.

The integration of the myWarema digital order platform into popular software solutions for window manufacturers provides a simple way to configure windows and sun shading at the same time.
As the manufacturer plans their sun shading, the configurator automatically restricts the selection to the specifications appropriate for the structure in question. This speeds up the process and minimises potential sources of errors.
The simplified quotation and order process makes sun shading an attractive source of extra business for many window manufacturers.
