Linking myWarema with Klaes enables sun shading products to be configured and ordered directly from the window fitting software. Jonas Herr of Herr GmbH & Co. KG in Herborn, Hesse has been working with this solution for a year and a half. His company, which employs 25 people, produces plastic windows and front doors and often uses sun shading products. So how has he found the experience?

Mr Herr, how does your company go about creating a quotation?
It’s a lot easier than it used to be! When entering a window item in Klaes, I can access myWarema directly via the “Add item” menu option. There I can configure the roller shutters to go with the window, for example. The configurator restricts the selection to the specifications that make sense for the construction, making the whole process really quick. Technical feasibility is always guaranteed.

What happens once you’ve configured the roller shutters in myWarema?
With one click I transfer the product, together with its image and description, into my quotation. If necessary, I can also create separate items for Warema products. The purchase price shown is always up to date and we can add our surcharge as appropriate. My individual purchasing conditions are stored in the system and taken into account automatically.

When the contract is implemented, what does the order process look like?
It’s remarkably simple. In Klaes, I accept the quotation as a contract and create a “Warema order” with one right-click. All items for the contract are listed here and I can make additions and amendments where necessary. Placing the actual order is just a matter of clicking the mouse.

How did you work before this solution?
Previously, we had to look up the specifications and prices in catalogues and price lists, edit them for inclusion in the quotation and order them separately from Warema at a later point. Since practically all our contracts include roller shutters, external venetian blinds or other sun shading products, it was really time-consuming and sometimes there were mistakes. Now we can do it in a third of the time with no mistakes!

Does the new solution have any other benefits?
We definitely need to talk about “master data” here. Previously we had to create and maintain it ourselves. Not only did it take up our time, it was also prone to errors. With the new solution, we can access up-to-date product data at all times.

In conclusion?
Integrating myWarema into Klaes provides us with a consistent digital workflow – and it doesn’t get any better than that!

Visitors will be able to experience the link between window and sun shading software for themselves. The event will also show how digital solutions from Warema and Klaes can be used to optimise the window fitting workflow, from initial contact through to the construction site. Johannes Fuhrmann from Warema explains: “Among other things, we will present a solution for initial digital consultation on your own website as well as helpful tools such as the digital Warema funding assistant, which can be used to check whether a project is eligible for federal funding and to create all required documents and otherwise laborious evidence of summer protection against overheating in accordance with DIN 4108-2.”

Participants will also be able to visit the product exhibition in the Warema Sun Forum and the production facilities at the Wertheim site.

Klaes takes (always up-to-date) data from the myWarema Configurator. There is no need for the laborious process of manually maintaining master data.

The order is transferred from Klaes to myWarema with a click of a mouse. This means the entire workflow is consistently digital.
