The past year has been filled with twists and turns, forcing people and companies to quickly adapt. Most of these adaptations have been digital, while personal interaction has fallen by the wayside. Warema has therefore tried to find ways of staying in direct contact with its customers despite the physical distance between them. And now the sun shading expert is inviting specialist dealers, window fitters, architects and the trade press to “Sunlight Interactive”, a virtual fair taking place from 1–5 February 2021. Guests can look forward to new products, interactive chats and the opportunity to arrange on-site visits. Digitalisation has always been crucial, but Warema will never allow it to replace personal contact.
Throughout 2020, Warema has developed various new formats to bridge the gap until in-person meetings can resume. When it became clear that trade fairs and events would not be possible, the company came up with ideas ranging from webinars to the BBQ@home online event and a digital trend congress. While virtual meetings cannot and should not replace direct contact, they are currently the only option. And it looks as though next year will also be far from normal. Warema’s virtual fair is a huge step forward and will show what a digital trade fair can do.
Digital experiences and interactive formats
Visitors will experience the highlights of and additions to the two Warema Group brands – Warema and Caravita – in live, digital format. Sunlight Interactive is a state-of-the-art forum that provides guests with innovative, self-explanatory ways to explore products. Whether they choose to learn about new products by touring the virtual stands or put their questions to the experts via the live chat function, (digital) interaction remains the focus. But this experience does not have to be confined to the virtual realm. Warema invites specialist dealers to visit its Wertheim I site during the "Experience Warema" weeks, in which small-group training sessions about the new products will be held in the main exhibition. Sessions for architects are also planned. There is also the option to visit the new Warema Sun Forum in Wertheim. Alternatively, interested parties can arrange for the sales team to demonstrate some of the new products in the updated exhibitions at the company sites.
New products have been added to the Home Comfort, Outdoor Living and Smart Building Solutions segments, including Caravita parasols. Warema’s innovative portfolio for modern living and working offers classic sun shading and weather protection, optimised daylight utilisation and user-friendly systems paired with modern designs.
Attractive and functional new products
Additions to the platform include a new collection of external venetian blinds and roller shutters with extremely popular matt surfaces and linear designs. The innovative GranTex front-mounted awning will enable even larger areas to be shaded in the future. Warema has also expanded its Outdoor Living range, optimising existing variants and adding new products to the Lamaxa slat roof portfolio and the Sonea sun sail range. Warema’s collaboration with homee is an important step in the Smart Building segment. Integrating the WMS radio standard into the modular smart home system enables sun shading, heating, lighting and other technologies to be networked, no matter the manufacturer. Caravita has also increased its product range with even more furnishing options for the large Big Ben parasol and the new Grande parasol, which has a span of up to ten metres.
Visitors to the virtual fair can look forward to digital stands and a wide range of new solutions to improve living spaces and boost wellbeing.
