WMS WebControl pro
The new iOS and Android app enables simple and intuitive control of sun shading systems and light via tablet or smartphone. WMS WebControl pro provides direct access to your smart sun shading system, no matter where you are: from the comfort of your home, in the office or while on holiday. Data is transmitted around the world via a cloud maintained in Marktheidenfeld, Warema's headquarters. The app was developed to meet customer requirements with a modern design with clearly arranged tiles. The graphic view shows the current position of the sun shading system and the slat angle of external venetian blinds at a glance. The Plus X Award jury were also impressed by the user-friendly system, presenting WMS WebControl pro with the prestigious award for 'design, operating comfort and functionality' in 2020.

The app features a time switch, user-friendly control modes and an astro function that controls the sun shading system at dawn and dusk without additional sensors. The system can also be controlled using smart speakers such as Amazon Echo – "Alexa, lower the external venetian blinds". The start screen is easily personalised to show the user's favourite settings and, for example, the latest information from the WMS weather station. Occupants can change the settings themselves without assistance from specialist partners. Compatible with tablets, allowing the contents to be displayed in landscape format, WMS WebControl pro is also suitable for wall-mounted screens.

WMS studio pro
WMS WebControl pro is particularly easy to use and - thanks to the WMS studio pro software for PCs - can be easily and quickly configured by specialist dealers. WMS studio pro also received the Plus X Award for 'operating comfort and functionality' in 2018/2019. The user interface features Warema's typical design, its graphics and intuitive menu making commissioning extremely simple. The self-explanatory icons for allocating sun shading products can be dragged and dropped when configuring the system. This makes it easy to integrate multiple external venetian blinds, awnings and roller shutters into the system as well as the corresponding hand-held transmitters, wall-mounted transmitters, sensors and WMS WebControl pro.

Standard parameters are predefined in the software. Users who do not wish to tailor the system can simply use the transmitter or pre-set values to tell the sun shading system to move up and down automatically. Preferred settings are also simple to define, and can be handled by specialist dealers or technophile users. The WMS stick, which specialist dealers can obtain from Warema, is still required to transmit data from the software to the products. The stick enables quick data transfer to the WMS receivers.

Errors in programming can be avoided from the very beginning through intelligent assistance and plausibility checks. Users don’t even have to consult the manual; mouseover help texts and the integrated help function will quickly tell them what to do. Every project is automatically tested for feasibility.
