Warema will present these various applications at the trade fair through its different themes: renovating & refurbishing, safety & well-being, smart building, architectural solutions and outdoor living.

Scope for refurbishment and renovation
Whenever sun shading systems are integrated into existing buildings as part of a modernisation or renovation project, Warema shaft systems guarantee a high degree of cost effectiveness. Following on from its external shaft venetian blinds and shaft roller shutter systems, Warema has expanded its solutions for sustainable integration into shafts and cover panels with a window awning that can be used in many different settings. Almost entirely prefabricated, it guarantees excellent system safety. Assembly is simple and cost-effective thanks to its self-supporting, pluggable design.

Greater safety with SecuKit
In the event of a power failure, emergency routes must be cleared quickly. With SecuKit for external venetian blinds, this can be completed in just a few seconds.
When the external venetian blind is lifted, the end rail locks at a predefined height on the side of the guide rails, providing a route to the outside. This optically unobtrusive facade integration makes safety easy and quick. All Warema facade products, roller shutters, window awnings and external venetian blinds now have this safety feature.

Smart control with no compromises
The intelligent control of sun shading products contributes significantly to energy efficiency in buildings and maximises user comfort. At BAU, Warema will present its new Omnexo system, a sun shading control system for use in medium-sized residential and functional buildings such as kindergartens, schools and office buildings as well as in hospitals and industrial buildings. Omnexo automates sunlight via web technology and can be commissioned and operated using any browser-enabled device. One particular highlight of Omnexo is the option to combine the bus system (wired actuators) with WMS radio components, harnessing the benefits of both systems.

Clear design for modern architecture
This year’s BAU will also be the premiere of Warema’s new Windra 80 WF flat slat, which was specially developed for challenging, wind-exposed facades and can withstand wind speeds of up to 90 km/h. It combines the delicate elegance of a flat slat with exceptional stability, ensuring flexible light guidance and reliable thermal protection even with high wind loads.

Relax and enjoy outdoor spaces
Warema sun shading solutions create pleasant and safe spaces in gardens, on balconies and on patios; examples include awning solutions in vivid colours and inspiring designs with the new Spectrum fabric collection and the Lamaxa L50 roof system. Warema will present the L50 View with glass roof at the BAU trade fair.
The new VisioNeo View combines beautiful views with increased safety. This slender balcony glass railing is an extension to Warema's fall protection system for floor-to-ceiling windows on upper floors. Straight lines with lots of glass and very few posts add a modern and creative touch to any property, whether a new building or renovation project, with no drill holes to disrupt the look and no compromises in balcony drainage.

Customer orientation: the key to success
Consulting and service soon reveal whether a company knows what it’s doing. A full-range provider, Warema aims to offer holistic support to its specialised retailers with products and expertise from a single source. This includes commissioning and optimising control systems, consultations on renovation and modernisation, challenging repairs and increasingly sophisticated cleaning requirements. In this context, Warema will be presenting the ACLARIS line: awning fabrics and external venetian blinds can be cleaned professionally, quickly and reliably with cleaning concentrates and two different devices.
