Sliding shutters: pivotable slat sections and sophisticated design finishes
The consistently enhanced portfolio of sliding shutters combines effective privacy, sun shading and weather protection and offers numerous new features. In addition to the rigid versions, panels are now available with pivotable slat sections. These consist of two separately adjustable pieces per panel, enabling users to finely tune the interplay of light and shade, as well as openness and privacy. The technology has also been consistently enhanced. There is now a barrier-free floor rail with a reduced threshold height of just 15 millimetres. Self-adjusting guide sliders automatically compensate for floor unevenness, making installation easier. Further optimisations, such as easy-to-install running rails, edge bolts for secure positioning, an optional carrier function and buffer stops for soft closing make the system noticeably more convenient to use. The sliding shutters can be manufactured with panels up to 1,600 millimetres wide and 3,100 millimetres high – ideal for large-format systems.
The sliding shutters also open up further design options. The sophisticated design finishes for aluminium slats are just one example: Six authentic wood and rust looks combine natural radiance with high functionality. The surfaces are easy to care for, UV-resistant, weather-proof and particularly long-lasting. To give the customer even more freedom to design their system, the sliding shutters are also available in RAL and DB colours from the Warema Colour World and an upscale real-wood design with thermos-treated ash – a particularly resilient natural material for durable outdoor use.

Glass sliding system: tried-and-tested technology, new configuration options
The vertical glass elements create a balanced interplay of transparency and visual privacy. High-quality materials, precise mechanics and well-considered details ensure a premium outdoor experience. One highlight is the framed variant with aluminium profiles and high-quality brush seals, which not only looks good, but also provides effective protection against draughts and insects. Flexible rail systems with multiple tracks enable opening to be tailored to architecture and usage. The lateral wall connection profile ensures neat connections to the building structure and offers versatile locking options. An optional lift-out lock is available for locations exposed to wind. Safety glass with heat soak testing is also available to minimise the risk of spontaneous breakage, particularly on roof terraces and when installed at greater heights.
