Skills shortages, complex interfaces and great coordination needs on the building site: Planning and construction are more complex and challenging than ever. With this in mind, premium providers Warema and Gutmann have worked together to develop an innovative reveal module for modern facades. The modular concept enables Warema sun shading, fall protection and insect screens to be flexibly combined with other building components such as windowsills and drainage modules from Gutmann, as well as the window system selected – precisely coordinated, easy to install and aesthetically pleasing.

Efficient planning and secure implementation

Warema and Gutmann developed the Warema reveal module specifically for use in new buildings, renovations and serial construction. Depending on requirements and the desired design, the modular system encompasses Warema’s integrated external venetian blinds or window awnings for efficient sun shading, VisioNeo Sun railing system and insect screens – as well as the building’s windows and windowsills with corner drainage modules from Gutmann. This makes the reveal module a complete solution that benefits planners, architects and workers in the relevant phases of the construction process – from planning to completion.

Much simpler planning and implementation processes

The coordinated components noticeably reduce personnel requirements. Clearly defined dimensions and interfaces create planning security and make the project easier to coordinate. There’s also much less need for coordination between tradespeople – ensuring things go smoothly on the building site, minimising sources of error in implementation and making the whole process more economical. The system also protects effectively against water ingress, maintaining high implementation quality even when the schedule is tight.

Great flexibility and design freedom

The reveal module can be integrated flexibly into various facade types and exterior insulation and finish systems – for a clear, consistent and premium look to the facade. Architects also benefit from Warema and Gutmann’s coordinated colour ranges. With harmonious powder coatings and tone-in-tone transitions, the modular system blends in seamlessly with premium architectural concepts. The colour palette ranges from classic traffic white to anthracite grey to elegant iron mica effect tones – with surfaces available in highly weather-resistant matt, highly weather-resistant fine texture or satin finishes.

Sustainable solution that’s fit for the future

The Warema reveal module highlights the potential for coordinated system solutions in facade construction. By optimising the use of materials and incorporating durable components and energy-efficient system solutions, it supports sustainable forms of construction that save on resources. The collaboration between Gutmann and Warema combines sun shading and aluminium construction systems to create an effective solution for energy-efficient, economical construction. Architects, planners and workers also benefit from a system that makes it easier for them to coordinate, reduces potential implementation risks and creates additional scope for a precise and consistent facade design.

Whether in a new building, renovation or serial construction, the reveal module offers precisely coordinated functions and a range of colours. This is an aesthetic solution with clear economic advantages for large properties in particular.

Premium providers Warema and Gutmann have developed a modular solution that combines windows, fall protection, sun shading, windowsills and insect screens in one coordinated system unit.

The reveal module with integrated external venetian blinds combines efficient sun shading with a consistently clear facade look. The precisely coordinated aluminium cover panel hides the slat stack completely – even at great heights. The modular structure creates consistent views across multiple window axes. The system fulfils current requirements for overheating protection and is compatible with exterior insulation and finish systems.

The reveal module with an integrated front-mounted awning combines efficient sun shading, maximum design freedom and reduced complexity in one building component. The easyZIP guidance secures the fabric in position – even in strong winds – and maintains even tension across the entire level. The technology disappears completely into the reveal without affecting the architecture. The colour, proportions and surface are aligned with the windows and facade – for a smooth, consistent external look and excellent quality in the details.

VisioNeo Sun fall protection is permanently integrated into the sun shading guide rails for floor-to-ceiling windows. It offers discreet protection against falls and can be combined with individual Warema sun shading solutions as required.

Insect screen fixed frames can be integrated harmoniously into the overall system. The discreet WAREMA VisionAir gauze offers great air circulation and durability.

Connected to the structure: Gutmann aluminium windowsills protect reliably against weather and drain away rainfall safely. They are durable, easy to install and suitable for exterior insulation and finish systems.

Windowsill corner connection:
The tried-and-tested Gutmann Delta drainage module safely diverts moisture ingress under the windowsill to the outside, protecting the building from damage caused by leaking connection joints. It can be installed easily on the outside of the window frame with no planning required.
