Whether in a townhouse or multi-storey residential building, spacious windows, varying parapet situations and individual facade designs are part of modern architecture. With this in mind, Warema is expanding the VisioNeo Sun and Single railing systems with safety glass to include new variants with bar rails, rail profiles and combined variants. This system solution combines verified safety, simple installation and design freedom to meet a wide range of architectural requirements.

One system – five aesthetic and functional variants

The expansion of the product range means that the VisioNeo railing system is now available in five variants, each covering specific design and function requirements. The tried-and-tested VisioNeo Glass with line-supported glazing combines secure fall protection with great transparency and an unobstructed view of the outside. VisioNeo Rail is a classic bar rail with vertical divides for clearly structured, functional facades – it can also be used with varying parapet heights or in combination with permanent glazing. VisioNeo Crossbar has horizontal rail profiles that enable safety elements to have one to three parts and are particularly useful for deep windowsills, asymmetric facades and varying parapet heights. The combined variants VisioNeo Rail’n’Crossbar and VisioNeo Glass’n’Crossbar combine bar rail and glass elements with additional rail profiles to open up even more design possibilities.

The powder-coated railing profiles for VisioNeo Sun and Single are included in Warema’s scope of delivery as aligned system components. The different variants can be combined and are suitable for new buildings, renovations, and replacing windows in existing buildings. In all variants, concealed screw connections, flush profiles and minimal technical details ensure unobtrusive integration into the facade.

Proven platform solution with trusted technology and simple installation

All VisioNeo variants are tested in accordance with DIN and ÖNORM, have complete system statics and do not require project-related approval (ZiE) in Germany or Austria. This ensures planning security and makes the products easy to use. The basis for this is standardised system architecture in the form of a platform solution with a patented clamping system. The same installation principle applies throughout: identical interfaces, no additional fixing points and fixing materials included in the scope of delivery. The VisioNeo Single and VisioNeo Sun system variants are also compatible with all guide rail combinations offered by Warema and suitable for common mounting substructures. Another advantage is that the railing system and sun shading can be integrated on the same guide rail – saving space on the building depth and with no restrictions on Warema external venetian blinds, roller shutters or window awnings. “By expanding VisioNeo, we are offering a system that can be flexibly adapted to varying structural requirements – with a familiar approach to installation, verified safety and seamless integration of sun shading”, explains Thomas Wiesmann, Managing Director Window Systems at Warema.

Warema is adding new railing options to the VisioNeo portfolio to increase options when designing a facade. All variants are tested in accordance with DIN and ÖNORM. The VisioNeo Sun variant is available with sun shading and the VisioNeo Single variant offers standalone fall protection.

VisioNeo Rail is a classic bar rail with a clear vertical structure that can be used in a range of parapet scenarios.

VisioNeo Crossbar with horizontal rail profiles enables customised solutions for asymmetric facades and deep windowsills.

Platform solution for greater flexibility: VisioNeo Sun and Single can be combined with Warema sun shading solutions. The aligned components increase planning security and flexibility.

The different variants can be combined with one another or with the tried-and-tested glazing to form Rail’n’Crossbar or Glass’n’Crossbar.

Glass, bar rail or rail profile: All variants of the railing system are based on the same clamping technology and system architecture to make installation easier. They can be combined with external venetian blinds, roller shutters or window awnings as VisioNeo Sun. As VisioNeo Single, they act as standalone fall protection that can be combined in many ways.
